The Full Story
We started in the 1960s in Los Angeles with Reo Pagan, the owners’ father. The business expanded with its strong following and grew to encompass 5 restaurants throughout Los Angeles. After Reo got sick, he moved to Atlanta to leave out his final days.
In 2005, Reo Pagan Jr restarted the restaurant that he helped his father build in L.A. here in East Point, GA. With the help of his family and a lot of helping hands from amazing employees and the community Taco Pete has successfully been thriving.
With the business being passed down through the generations, 3 generations deep, there is a since of tradition and pride that comes along with working within Taco Pete. Here you will find that customers don’t just come for the food, but for the family atmosphere we are always working to share. With that said, welcome to the family! From customer to employee, you are now an extension of the family and its tradition so, “Savor the Tradition” with every bite.
